Seriously never been working on a project this long. I started in september and hardly worked on anything else.
Been cutting like a maniac, but the idea was to have a base set of modular terrain that’s usable for games in any futuristic, post apocalyptic or even modern game, that I can add elements to to add flavor, but still looks goon on it’s own.

Now, I’d love to claim credit for the idea, but I got it from Wyloch’s youtube channel and then just added what I wanted to it.

Still, it’s been quite a feat finishing this. And I’m very happy it’s done. Looking forward to playing kill-team or old school necromunda on it. Or maybe some star wars game in the future.
I will still be adding to this….. at some point. For now I’m just happy it’s done.

The last picture is of everything disassembled. I have in-numerous options of putting this together and far to many walkways.base1base2dissassembleddissassembled

Looks great, have you got a nice mat that fits in with the theme?

    Thanks.
No, I’m not big on gaming mats for non board games. I’m planning to make foam tiles. Making the 1 ft by 1 ft and about 1,5 cm thick. Then magnatize them on the sides so they won’t slide.
I’ll be adding sligthtly 3d details on those.
The idea is that I can make other themes and combine sets to represent the edge on an industrial zone next to a forrest for instance.

But I’ll have to get my equipment for that first.

Sounds like a plan, I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I think I saw somewhere that someone used the green stuff world rolling pins on foam, not sure what I comes out like though. I have a couple but have only used them on green stuff.

I’m not sure on the greenstuff rollers. The detail might be to shallow? But the technique is vallid. Shiffting lands sells rollers just for that and there are tutorials for making your own.
I’m not plannning on using rollers for my post-apocalyptic tiles, but a future set absolutely.

Since I stole this idea from youtube I didn’t make a project blog, but I’ll be sure to make one for the tiles
