So, we knew that a Saga Of The Beast preview was dropping today and now it's landed with an almighty roar. Here we have the look at Ragnar Blackmane and Ghazghkull Thraka who will take centre stage in this next phase of the Sci-Fi saga that is Psychic Awakening for Warhammer 40,000 by Games Workshop.

Ghazghkull - 40K

We start with the massive new model for Ghazghkull who looks like he did before but significantly embiggened to match the new scale of Warhammer 40,000. As one of, if not the greatest Ork Warboss of the 41st Millennium, he was able to nearly kill Ragnar Blackmane. He did then have his head chopped off but that didn't stop this massive killing machine.

Mad Dok Grotsnik was able to make sure that Ghazghkull lived again, giving him a brand new body and a new purpose, revenge. He is absolutely packed with detail and looks befitting as a new hero of the Ork armies as they rampage across the galaxy in Warhammer 40,000.

On the other side of the coin, we've got Ragnar Blackmane himself who gets a new dynamic miniature to suit 8th Edition.

Ragnar Blackmane - 40K

Ragnar effectively sacrificed his life to put an end to the might of Ghazghkull, although it doesn't seem to have done much good. However, the Young King was found by his warriors and was put through the Rubicon Primaris in order to save his life. He was not going to head to the battlefield in the sky anytime soon and instead comes back renewed, re-armoured and ready to get stuck in and hack apart some Orks!

This change is quite a nice one anyway, giving us another glimpse at how the Primaris effect is going to find its way into all manner of different Chapters over the next few years. Yes, he is standing on some rubble, but he needs it if he's going to get face-to-face with Ghazghkull.
