Warlord Games has recently added a new miniature into the mix for use in their Judge Dredd miniatures game. Here we have the Cyborg, SJS Judge Gerhart. Take a peek at the kit which offers up a version of the character on foot and mounted upon a big chonky bike.

SJS Judge Gerhart - Warlord Games

I must admit, I don't know much about the lore of 2000AD but some of the new models we're seeing are looking very cool. I do like the way that this fellow has come together, mixing together plenty of synthetic elements with the organic. Here is some of his background from Warlord...

"Now more than 75% Cyborg, Alex Gerhart was an up‐and‐coming star in the sinister ranks of the Special Judicial Squad. Unfortunately, like so many of his colleagues, he had an unhealthy obsession with Judge Dredd. Not only had the venerable Judge been instrumental in exposing the worst excesses of the SJS under Judge Cal, he also represented the one thing that the SJS could simply not process: an incorruptible Judge."

This sounds like a rather awesome story to tell out on the tabletop. I love the idea of having Gerhart going up against Dredd and trying to beat him at his own game.

"Ultimately Gerhart’s obsession with Dredd would cost him dearly. He saved Dredd’s life by taking the impact of a missile meant for his nemesis. He simply could not let Dredd die before guilt was fully proven. Gerhart’s self‐sacrifice saw fully half of his shattered body being replaced by cybernetic parts."

So, are you going to be diving into the world of Judge Dredd and maybe picking up Gerhart to use as the leader of one of your teams?
