The Beautiful Miniatures Of Stormsunder | Lazy Squire Games
February 28, 2020 by crew
Today we get a close look at the miniatures of Stormsunder: Heirs of Ruin.
Robert from Lazy Squire Games talks to Gerry and Justin about the aesthetic decisions that went into Stormsunder. There's an incredible amount of detail that the sculptors have went into for these miniatures. The team at Lazy Squire wanted to deliver a large amount of figures within the core box of the game so that it's packed with content.

Will you be picking up Stormsunder on Kickstarter?
My dead wallet… it can’t become undead to support this.
Yeah, those miniatures are beautiful. But they are not the production plastics backers will get. How is that detail going to hold up when the minis are produced by a – as yet not decided upon – manufacturer of boardgame PVC in China? I was hoping for Unicast production, but LSG said it was cost prohibitive.
That said … the funding goal was so unrealistic it is a joke (yeah, I get the reasoning behind it, but I doubt that even the 500 000 achieved now will be enough to produce everything and get it translated).
fantastic models and the artworks stunning.
I’d love some of those minis, but $500 in one shot is just too much for me. I wish they’d sell the boxes separately on their website so you could pick them up one at a time.
I’ve worked with one of the sculptors and he’s great. He did several minis for my company before starting work on Stormsunder and took things to a whole other level on these. The detail on the Stormsunder stuff is amazing.
