Nick Fury Joins The Marvel United Team As Kickstarter Exclusive
February 7, 2020 by brennon
CMON has been talking more about the Kickstarter exclusives available as part of Marvel United which goes live on the funding platform, 11th February. An UPDATE for today as CMON has also announced that another of the Kickstarter exclusive figures is going to be Nick Fury.
Here we can see a peek at Nick Fury is one of the most well-loved supporting characters in the Marvel universe. I still love that they changed his look to fit Samuel L. Jackson as it works so well! This is another of the chibi additions to the mix and shows off another dynamic miniature.
The first exclusive they revealed was Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye.
Hawkeye is going to be a pretty deadly addition to your team with his keen eyes allowing him to pick out villains and their minions. I would imagine he is also going to be pretty integral when dealing with your enemies schemes too.
This is going to be a Kickstarter exclusive miniature for the set which is a bit of a shame but Marvel United is still going to be coming to retail with a good suite of core Avengers and additional Marvel heroes for you to use. I do think that they could have maybe kept the core Avengers people know from the films as part of the main box but then looked to more fringe characters to use as Kickstarter exclusives like Ms. Marvel, Doctor Strange and the like.
Two more exclusives are going to be included with the base pledge from the beginning of the campaign and we'll certainly be coming back to show them off when they get announced.
Could you be tempted by more Marvel goodness?

a nice fun looking figure.
Nick looks ready to kick ass.
Comments are spot on, leaving out a main character from the core set is a big mistake if this isn’t an alt sculpt.
So Nick and Hawkeye are KS Exclusives, that’s not nice.
100% agree. The CMON pattern of making a bunch of KS exclusive things really sours my taste for this game. In other games the exclusives have usually been parodies of other IP or just weird stuff, but if I can’t get access to certain characters without going through the KS, that sucks.
Not a fan of this style of mini tbh. Also really not a big fan of making these sort of characters exclusive to Kickstarter. I’ve always hated the idea that if I don’t jump on it now I’ll miss out.
