Venture Into The Medieval Era With Eggertspiele Expansion
January 29, 2020 by brennon
Eggertspiele have an expansion coming for Matt Leacock's Era: Medieval Age which adds in more elements which can help you develop your town.
The new expansion adds more elements to this "roll & build" game which came out last year. You've now got the inclusion of roads and rivers which will allow you to connect your domain to other worlds and a whole host of new structures which can be used to craft your way to victory. As some will know, Era actually comes on this rather fascinating little board and the game is packed with plastic pieces in place of your traditional "roll & write" pencil and paper.
This should mean that over the course of a game you should be able to build some rather fascinating looking structures and domains which are filled with that little bit of extra life. This does mean that the game isn't quite as cheap as other games in its genre but it certainly looks to be a lot of fun.
This new expansion is scheduled for release later this year so watch this space for more plastic-based options in Era.

This does look an interesting change to game.
It has always looked a bit cheap-plasticy to me, although the gameplay looks interesting!
