ooh, I love this kit, I bought it as soon as it was released x)
Its not amazing but it looks good, is fun to paint and is practical which is all you need from terrain.
The holes on this should match up fine if you want to put spares from any of the rhino based kits on(well not the vindicator) but really, for the price this thing comes in at you’re not that far off just buying a rhino- put holes in it yourself and then you’ve got the detailed interior and a much more flexible terrain piece that you can stick between buildings, put on hills etc.
well tbh if u buy a rhino you could easly make 2 mybe 3 of these kits but i alway feel bad about breaking up models(yes i have issues) i think i would use the door and top hatch to add some flavor to my other rhinos. only thing i dont like about thi kit is theres way 2 many trees on it for my liking.
I got mine just after it was released, I like it because it makes a change from all the building sets in the range. I fitted the interior from a vindecator as you can’t see its interior. I mounted it on a board and filled the gaps in with sand so I can still put troops in it and it looks really good.
I find the relief is done… Poorly. I believe you could easily do something like that at home for cheaper or an equivalent amount of money, and get way better results. Easily.
But that’s just my opinion… And of course, if you can’t be bothered with doing your own terrain, this may be your thing after all.

must admit i only realized this was a kit about a week ago .i had seen it in peoples battle reports and thought it was selfmade terrain made from a spare rhino. yet anotherthing GW makes me want to part money with.
btw the reason theres so many skulls on everything gw makes is because they have a staff scuplter who can only do skulls but hes an ok guy and they dont want to sack him. ive also heard that in the next chaos codex there gonna change khorne to the leaver of skulls so that way all the skulls all over the place will become all fluffy
I think it looks great, although the only bit I don’t like is that small gap where “the rats get in” but that could easily be fixed. Good job GW!
You seem very interested in ‘Looking at the innards’!
But I suppose a piece of paper could do just as well lol. Personally I prefer to make these sorts of things myself, but they probably would look as good although being individually unique.
the amount of skulls in GW kits is a bit silly at times. The realm of battle board is ridiculous, big pits filled with skulls!
Over 18 months later on rerun and its still a bloody pointless kit.
I prever to create my own scenarios, from scratch and other companies such as Quantum Gothic. This kind of model doesn’t appeal to me
