I’mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Hello friends! Sorry to have been away for so long. It’s been a hell of a year, but I’m finally getting my game groove back. I’m presently nursing a surgically repaired broken arm (and emotional distress following the announcement of the departure of Star Wars Destiny-lol), but have been working on reconnecting with my love of gaming.

In the past year, my mom passed away and after an awful 8 months with my job of 17 years, I decided to walk away from it. The cumulative effect of both of these things really left me with little else to give to anyone or anything else. It’s pretty bad when the idea of playing games wasn’t even that fun any more. OK, enough doom and gloom and depression. Let’s talk about sunshine and daisies.

I have landed a great new job- I’m finishing my third month. I love my work. I feel appreciated and I AM BACK. We have gotten 2 local friends, Marty & Chris, into playing DUST with us, as well as a friend from across the pond, Gaz! We have been dabbling in D&D, and I am even contemplating trying some painting! Of course, I play Destiny whenever I get the chance and have now taken to cataloging my collection to try to complete it.

The bottom line is, I feel more like my nerdy, silly self. I am really looking forward to Adepticon and getting more involved on OTT again.

I’ve missed you and I’m glad to be back.
