I have decided against yellow and white, instead going with cream and purple for my ogres, although I reserve the right to use a yellow as a spot colour maybe.
In the meantime Grok has gotten his base colours down before I tidy up the metals, add detail like teeth and hair and dip.

Mantic doesn’t make models for them yet, an upgrade pack is due this year, so in the meantime I’m using my own conversions.
they have a plastikard wooden back and a resin front. The weapons are made from orc maces stuck on old beastmen banner poles.

Are you going to work on the gaps (f. i. shoulder and arm) and how do you do it? Miliput, green stuff …?
nope, but if I was it would be milliputt, green stuff is shite
What don’t you like about green stuff?
it’s for sculpting not gap filling, it’s hard to remove excess and goes rubbery when cured so you can’t get a smooth finished. Milliputt on the other can be brushed off with alcohol to make the gap invisible and if you need to cut or file it you can clean it up after it is cured.
More a case of using the right tool for the right job, if I sculpted at all I’d be more keen on it
Milliput is also inexpensive compared to green stuff
Cheaper has a power all of its own.
You and Torros have now made me rethink my green stuff. I only use it for gap filling, will have to get some milliput and alcohol and maybe the previous years can be dubbed the wasted years.
I’ve only ever used water to smooth it out. I’ll give the alcohol a try as well
