Definitely not for wargaming. You buy a GW 40K miniature, assemble it, paint it, and it looks exactly like it should be in the army lists.

You buy a RPG miniature, and you should be lucky if it matches the class, race, weapon, and armor of your character. Never mind that it doesn’t match your character’s hair. Never mind that it doesn’t match your character’s equipment. Never mind that it doesn’t have your character’s secondary weapon. Never mind that it has a pose that doesn’t reflect your character’s personality.

Oh, and you have to paint it too, huh? Spend all that money on paint and brushes when you don’t want to paint? Spend hours learning painting when all you want to do is paint one single miniature?

You know, I could buy my own cow and slaughter it, but I think I’ll go to a restaurant instead! :/
