Going Old School
I dug around in all my old models, and things I’d bought and not painted, and came up with some stuff that could be added to my growing Dwarf Army. Proxying is fine in KoW so I put together two more units.
First up some Ral Partha models I got on Kickstarter. They're a right mixture so might work well as rangers.
These two are old GW slayer command models I believe. 
Which when added to 8 old GW metal hammerers I had lying around make a nice retro unit. These guys will probably be used as an elite troop.
How do the old Hammers compare to Mantic plastics in size? I remember them to be on the smaller scale of things. Also there does seem to be a stylistic difference between Mantic and GW miniatures. I have never seen Mantic Dwarves up close, so I can’t really tell. What do you think when placed side by side?
Yeah, the old GW stuff is a little bit smaller than the mantic models. Stylistically they’re different too. I’ll try to post a side by side shot so you can see the difference.
