Defend Sarissa Precision’s Japanese Castle Very Soon!
January 9, 2020 by brennon
Sarissa Precision has been showing off a new terrain piece which is dropping for their Feudal Japanese range. Here we have their towering Japanese Castle which looks like the perfect place for a siege!
This is a pretty mighty structure which has plenty of space within for you to place your Ashigaru, Samurai and more sending arrows down onto their foes. This kind of fortress would have been popping up across the country during the Sengoku period and was an evolution of a traditional fortress which might have simply been a stockade in earlier centuries. As with all castles, they were used to hold places of strategic importance.
This particular building has been designed with skirmish gaming in mind. For example, you could see this being a place where a band of mercenaries are trying to sneak inside to kill an important general during your games of Test Of Honour.
Add a village into the mix around the base of this fortress and you'd have a sterling gaming table...

That is incredible. Love to see companies pushing what can be dome with MDF boxes.
That’s stunning that is.
This is one of those terrain pieces that will get you into a game or period. Simply stunning!
Very nice!
Do we know if the levels open up for game play? Is it detailed inside?
