Archon Close In On Rampart’s Final Hours With New Tank
December 17, 2019 by brennon
As we moved towards the final hours for the Archon Studio Rampart Kickstarter they have unveiled the final stretch goal if they can reach the coveted level of $300K. They are close to unlocking the Wolverine Tank from their Starcide Wargame.

The campaign is focused in on creating a range of Modular Terrain and you can find out more about this HERE. However, their stretch goals have managed to unlock all sorts of extras and goodies including the aforementioned Wolverine Tank.
This is a rather fancy looking new tank with chunky armour and a massive cannon on the front. You couldn't want for much more when it comes to adding armour into the mix, would you? As well as coming with the big cannon it also has a transport compartment at the back too.
You could use this on the frontlines to make sure that your troops get into combat without getting shot to bits. I would assume that it is going to be crafted from the same plastic that they've been using for their terrain range and such and it does look rather nice.
So, are you tempted to pick up this big tank if they manage to reach their final stretch goal before the campaign comes to an end?

If you didn't want to use it for Starcide it would be pretty system-agnostic and could be used across a range of other Sci-Fi game worlds out there.
Will you be getting involved with this Kickstarter?

I was impressed with the amount of terrain you get per core set. The price is insanely cheap, compared to some companies. The plastic is nice and hard, the details on the Kazumi sets I got really pop out. Its very nice terrain, it connects easily and has options for magnetizing. I have zero complaints, really easy good experience all around. I plan on backing this one as well, that industrial terrain is just too nice… Read more »
