A Shiny Silver Dragon Swoops Out Of WizKids For D&D
June 4, 2014 by brennon
WizKids are continuing their draconic previews for the Tyranny of Dragons range coming out towards the end of summer to support the Dungeons & Dragons release. Their latest sneak peek concerns the very shiny looking Silver Dragon...
These might not be to everyone's tastes but I think these not only look pretty massive but also pretty epic too. The miniature does look like it's been hit with a can of spray paint but it does appear to have plenty of bumps and ridges across its scaly skin so a wash would bring all of that to the fore.
I really can't wait to get my hands on a selection of Dragons around August time. I think both Attack Wing AND Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition are going to be brilliant!
What do you think of this Silver Dragon?

Does anyone know why dragons are often sculpted with a lateral framework under the wings?
Is not something I ever think of with dragon wings nor recall seeing in graphic depictions.
Maybe I just haven’t noticed it.
How big are the dragons Ben? Am looking forward to the Attack Wing, though Star Trek expansions may take up my hobby pennies
…. but dragons. So cool.
Can’t find any definitive information on their scale at the moment @chibi but will keep an eye out for you.
Cool
Thanks ben
Hahahaha

You gotta love it
I think people use bats as inspiration for them when sculpting
Bat wings are essentially skin. If you think about it, it is the equivalent of the webbing between your fingers.
I was just wondering if there was some technical reason for it, which seems unlikely.
