Oathsworn Miniatures’ Freya Rides Hildisvini Into Battle
May 30, 2014 by brennon
Oathsworn Miniatures have shown off another Norse Goddess over on Facebook. This time around they've taken a look at Freya riding her battle boar Hildisvini. This is the steed she used when she couldn't get her cat chariot out onto the battlefield...I'm serious.
Hopefully this will form the start of many more riders in the Project Pantheon range as well as some Gods on foot. I think the boar looks great and Freya is pretty awesome too.
There are plenty of Gods and plenty of different religions to draw on so let's hope that Oathsworn continue with this vein of thinking!
Is Freya the Goddess for you?

I jumped in on the Odin KS. He is doing some great stuff. The talk is of several more to go and he is talking to his backers on what to do next and what ideas are out there. I plan to back this one and several others that have been talked about.
I really like this sculpt, except for the face. It has a bit of a missing chromosome look to it. Might just be the angle, and it would be good to see one painted.
