Creature Caster’s New Queen Of Ruin Spreads Her Pox & Plague
November 26, 2019 by brennon
Creature Caster has another special miniature in the mix for the month of December. We saw The Twins last week and now we're getting a peek at the towering Queen Of Ruin who has come to spread her pox and plagues across the world.
Here you can see another glorious looking and festering demon who could be quite the centrepiece for your army on the tabletop. The amount of detail that the folks at Creature Caster have managed to work into the model is astounding and I love the disgusting tongue which is lapping from her belly and winding its way up over her shoulder. The battered knightly helmet also speaks to her maybe once being a little less corrupted.
There is also an alternative design for her with a few options you can play around with...
Here she has forgone the sword in favour of a staff which could be used to summon foul winds from the realm of Chaos. She has also taken off the helmet and how a drooping cowl takes its place alongside those curling horns which all fans of Nurgle will be familiar with.
Whichever options you choose to use with the Queen Of Ruin, this is an awesome looking model that would be a lot of fun to paint. It would be brilliant to see what strange and otherworldly colours folks could work into the mix here.
What do you make of the Queen Of Ruin?

Would love to paint that – especially the staff variation. Really nice balance of gribbly detail and plain bits.
That is some seriously impressive detail, especially with that horrible tongue and all the shrieking corpses. I also have to say that this is the first time I’ve gone from “Now that’s my kind of woman!” to “OH SWEET NO PLEASE NO!!!” as I scrolled down the page.
will look brilliant painted.
I’m in lurve.
Yeah, Creature Caster does it again!
Great to have a new goddess to add to the army of Rot.
