Games Workshop has been chatting about a new partwork which is going to be available here in the UK and (bizarrely) Spain. This one is going to take you delving into the world of Age Of Sigmar and the Mortal Realms.

Much like with other partwork magazines, this is going to allow you to slowly build up an army for both the Stormcast Eternals and the Nighthaunt. Alongside the miniatures which they will teach you to put together and paint over a number of weeks, you'll also get the paints to do so and of course some tactical advice on playing the game and getting stuck into it.

Here is a look at the final selection which not only contains the two armies but also some of the big terrain elements too from Age Of Sigmar.

I thought that partwork magazines had vanished back in the 90s when I was growing up but apparently they are still alive and well. By all accounts, the one that Games Workshop worked on for Warhammer 40,000 wasn't that bad and I'd assume this is going to be equally harmless.

I do like the idea of perhaps getting a couple of your kids into this at the same time. Buy the magazine for both of them and divide up the contents so that they can play around with building each of their armies a bit at a time. It would be decidedly less daunting than facing a mass of grey right out of the date. You better hope they have the attention span though...I never did.

As well as the miniatures you can see here the new partwork will also come with the exclusive model, Knight-Incantor Xandria Azurebolt.

So, if you fancy picking up a fancy exclusive miniature at the same time as delving into crafting a new army, this might be for you. You can find out more about the new Mortal Realms magazine HERE where a mailing list is now online.

Could this tempt you into Warhammer: Age Of Sigmar?
