Durgin Paint Forge Sculpt Up A Stylish Elf Warrior
November 20, 2019 by brennon
Durgin Paint Forge is back with another awesome preview of their Lost Court collection, a range of Elves which will be popping up in the world of Inneath in the near future. Check out their take on the Elf Warrior done in their own unique style.
Once again we're seeing an awesome alternative take on the nature of Elves from Durgin. We've got the strange and alien proportions, the knife-like ears but also some fascinating elements taken from different cultures like that of Japan but also Polynesia and South America too.
I love seeing that mix of cultures brought together in this way, producing a range of figures which have a familiar quality to them but then something a little different and uncanny. It's fascinating seeing just how well the different culture's aesthetics actually blend together as well, which is a credit to Durgin's sculpting.
I can't wait to see how these Elves turn out when they've got a bit of paint on them!

It’s an interesting looking miniature. I don’t know if I really like it but I can appreciate the quality.
Interesting choice for the teeth.
It is a mask.
So it is. It’s easier to see on the website picutres. I like it. The miniature has a nice swagger about it.
I like all of their stuff a lot. Thheir Dwarf range is amazing.
Hopefully, it has a massive base, otherwise with that high center of gravity, I foresee toppling over in its future. And talk about foot (or would it be feet) on rock.
I’ve really liked all their sculpts. I wanted to go in on their last kickstarter but just couldn’t quite convince myself as I’ve got too much on my “need to be painted” shelf as it is. What I need is for someone to make a game for all these awesome minis. I’d probably even settle for some Warcry variants for them.
