A movement tray is all that is needed to change round based mini unit to a square formation. Enter the “Specialist Game Warhammer Battle Base” being the modular movement trays of old in new packaging @£25 each. or they even will make movement trays with indentations for bases.

I would hazard a guess that they will make the unit footprints in the “new” WFB larger seeing as the new minis are on larger round bases.
