Fight For The French At Waterloo In Warlord’s Black Powder
May 26, 2014 by brennon
Warlord Games have another big army set on the way for their Black Powder game. This time around it's the French Army Set marching to the field at Waterloo!
As you can see from the front of the box art here you get a whole army dressed for the Waterloo campaign including 144 plastic and metal miniatures, an officer, a cannon and plenty of flags to fly for your country.
I imagine playing as the French in Napoleonic games is a bit like playing as the Germans in World War II tabletop wargaming - you always feel like you're playing as the bad guy! Saying that I do have a German army for Bolt Action so there shouldn't be anything stopping me picking up the French for some Black Powder gaming.
We'll be seeing some painted images of this army soon but until then you'll just have to salivate over the idea of getting nearly 150 miniatures to play with.
Will you join the French?

Not that Warlord make them yet but you want to check out the Black Brunswickers. Those guys were adorned with skull and crossbones they wouldn’t look out of place in 40k.
