Lazy Squire Games Show Off Stormsunder’s Character Cards

Lazy Squire Games has been showing off some of the character cards for the heroes you'll be taking control of in the game of Stormsunder: Heirs Of Ruin. These characters are going to be there from the very start of your campaign but there's no guarantee that they'll survive to the end.

This gives you a proper peek at both the character art and how that translates into the miniatures that you get to represent each of them. I think they've struck a really cool aesthetic with this game, mixing together a little bit of classic Fantasy with a big dose of darkness and evil. These are certainly not your typical dungeon-delving heroes.

One of the characters that I am fascinated by is Aleksander here, the Vampire. I like that they've managed to add a little of his charismatic character into the way he fights which seems apt!

Next up we're looking at Vanessa who is human but with a twist. I think that you're going to have a lot of fun painting up these miniatures, trying to stick as close as possible to the over-the-top art style which feels like it has come from a video game.

Finally, we have another character which I initially thought was an Orc! However, instead, we're seeing a warrior which has been inspired by Aztec and Mayan culture and brought together into an awesome looking warrior who, again, would be a fascinating model to paint.

One thing I also like about this game is that the core characters for it are a good mix. You've got two female characters, one male character from an entirely different culture and also a vampire for good measure. I mean, vampires have always been cool right?

This should be a fun game to dive into and we're looking forward to learning more about it in the coming weeks and months.

Are you tempted to learn more about this game?
