KIngs of War 3rd edition armies with repurposed models
Building with Storage in mind
Hello and welcome to my project. This is my first project, so hopefully I can do this correctly. I also hope that it is of some value to someone.
For this first post, I wanted to share how I store my minis. I’ve found that if I know how and where I’m going to store the minis, it allows me to better know where I’m at in my hobby slog.
Lots of companies make fancy cases with foam or magnetic trays. These can vary drastically in size, capacity, style, etc. But they vary little in the fact that they are expensive (at least in my opinion). I’d rather spend my money on more models. I can’t claim I invented this, but I have put it to lots of good use. At Walmart, they sell cake trays with lids for $10 USD. With some magnets purchased off Amazon, I can fit up to 100 minis per tray. Then I can have a tray or two for each army. This may be blasphemy for some, but it works for me. I picked it up from a guy who played a shop near me when I lived in Wisconsin.
