Morning Troops 🙂
Got a pass for a couple of hours this morning to nip into the studio to hobby for a while, then its off to take the family to the car boot sale – I let on its for them, but really its for me I’m on the hunt for military looking boats I can use in some modern gaming next year for some ship to ship raids 🙂
Any Way Questions…
What do you do when BoW/OTT is down?
I kinda shite my self for a while and then pester Tim and Tom between the hundred messages I get that the site is down lol. I used to shite myself a lot harder though but Tim has some great infrastructure in place these days so its a little less stressful – but only a little lol.
On a scale from “The Phantom Menace” to “The Empire Strikes Back” how excited are you for the Star Wars Weekend?
Utterly stoked for this! bit of a dream come true to spend a weekend starwarsing with like minded folk from the community 🙂
Did you ever go to a convention/tournament/event for the sole purpose to get an exclusive mini?
mmmmm, no in fact I think i’m an army or group kinda guy, single minis I don’t think have ever caused me to go to that length 🙂
MUSAK!
Hobby
I’m in a good place this morning, some time ago we received this Para army as a gift (I can’t exactly remember where it came from – but I suspect Australia)
So its basically the Paras from Arnhem – which is soooo cool 🙂
I’m getting stuck in to re shade them all to tone them down and then do a rebasing job on them. QUESTION @avernos and anyone else – does the base size matter if I want to play these in Bolt Action and Chain of Command etc – I’m really thinking of sticking these guys on 32mm bases and going to town on the basing a bit.
I’m in a happy place today lol
The box of goodies that it has taken soooo long to get around to!
Colour scheme is a little on the bright side so I’m going to ‘shade em down’
Old Faithful to the rescue.
The ‘drying pile’
Its definitely Arnhem! lol
