Thanks for watching Grey Knights Week
It's been a total blast and we've all enjoyed digging deeper into this very cool army!
Thanks to all who have signed up and especially those who took the time to comment, and add tactics or pick up errors!
The support of this community is amazing and the growth were seeing round here is testament to the fantastic vibe that has developed here.
A big thank you goes out to Tracy Constantine who drew the cool ilustration below, feel free to download it as a wall paper for your pc etc.
Thanks again guys and let's get our heads together to think up what cool stuff we're gonna do next 😉

i’ve enjoyed watching the videos and listening to what you and the team has to say about the Grey Knights. I’d just like to know what happened to the other videos? Are they all there? Because some of them seem disjointed, might just be me though… Anyway can’t wait for the turn 8 session next week. What can we expect from that? More prizes? haha
With all this coverage and discussion about these guys, I decided to buy a Grey Knight army as a reward for some accomplishment or another. Can’t wait to get my hands and my paintbrush on these guys
Turn 8 and prizes plz lol. Has been a very cool week.
excellent work by the BOW boys,
I really enjoyed the longer videos you did this week.
I look forward to your next big event!
These videos if anything were brilliantly entertaing…Warren shouting techmarine pretty funny (dont realy know why it was funny it just was). Shame that Darrels cheese deathcult/vindicare list is all wrong, which is discussed at length in the youtube comments…nothing new there realy. Awsome work guys youve even made me dust off my old metal knights and they were in a box protected by a freaking huge spider…who I now call Gary.
Neways keep up the awsome work ^^
Did I missed the Dread Knight vid….?
Anyway this week has being short thanks to you guys, lots of fun and ideas that i cant wait to try once I buy my new Gray Knights army.
Thanks a lot guys, keep it up!!
Oops… sorry guys found the Dreadknight vid… is part of the un-boxing which I didn’t bother to see cause I build one for my local Hobby store 😛
Looking forward to the Necron’s week 😀
…and hopefully necron week will be soon 😛
Thanks for all this coverage. I was planning to get back into 40k after a 2 year sabbatical and it was great to have so much in depth conversation about the army that I was getting back in with. Thanks for all of your hard work. You guys rock.
Now, just promise us that you won’t do a Tomb Kings week, or if you do, at least do some generic stuff on the side. (i.e don’t do absolutely everything Tomb Kings.)
I really enjoyed the videos, that being said I think this week as a themed week didn’t match up to the 7 days of Sanguinius… however who wouldnt just want more of a good thing?
On a side note it would be nicer if you can check things so people dont watch the videos and then have to read the comments for corrections 😛
all said and done really enjoyed the week 🙂
Its been a fun series of videos, a few hiccups here and there but overall cool stuff
Great coverage, but wasn’t there a Purgation squad or something (devastator squad equivalent)? If so, why wasn’t that unit covered?
Or did I just miss the video it *was* covered in?
and now i know how to thrash Grey Knights with my demons
I think I will get some Grey Knights myself. But I am in no fit state to roll out another army for some time.
I enjoyed the coverage.
Did you do a Brother-Captain Stern vid? Or was that hidden in another video, my internet played up quite a bit 😛
Great work guys, and tell Darrell to behave himself for the next themed week 😛
Thank you guys for the coverage. Someone above mentioned that he especially liked the long video format. While i don’t dislike long videos generally, I think some of the videos were just too long for the contend they provided. As an example: In every video when a unit was reviewed, Warren presented its stats and Darrell commented on it. Then, Warren read each weapon they can have together with the points costs, and Darrell explained what the weapon does. Afterwards, Warren asked himself if he liked it, and then asked Darrel what his thoughts about that item were. And because… Read more »
I respectfully disagree…
Some things bear repeating and correcting, in my opinion. That, and not everyone watches all of the videos.
BoW Romain
I kind of agree with you both… I think a video explaining the items would be good at the start so that everyone knows what they do, this would save a little repetition and help clarity, and might even help you to avoid mistakes. However it is good when you say why a daemon hammer is not useful for a techmarine when it is for a paladin. I actually like the long videos: more content to get discussing!
The Problem i had was that so much of the information was plain wrong and repeated so often, that it got annoying. I love bow, but even in a love affair there are days when your partner just annoys you.
Thanks guys for the video’s, it was good/informative to go through a Codex in more depth (rather than keeping all such things in my head) and reading other people’s comments as well as hearing your own opinions on units/the book in general, even if there were things that were missing. I know the army’s just been released and it will take a while for people to a) build their armies and b) play enough games whereby they can build enough tactical imagination to play/experiment with all the potential possibilites within it. However, this said I’m sure you guys will squeeze… Read more »
Thanks for the week, it was a good week. I love the theme of the week being specific, even when I am not going to collect them. Not just for fuelling my anger at mat ward, nor for knowing your enemy, just because warhammer armies are cool, and its nice to watch videos on them.
So, hoping for a tomb kings week and that necrons will be soon which will make my year if it happens.
I’m not sure if its just me, but why wasn’t the Heavy Support section covered in its own video? O_O
Same here
Agreed, it was one of the one section I was interested in hearing a review of… = /
There has been a bit of chat recently about the BoW videos being too long. Personally i dont get that. I like having a decent length of vid that I sit down and watch. The discussion is what feeds ideas in my own head and gets me thinking about the games involved. It may just be because I tend to sit down later at night and watch maybe an hour or so of BoW. But i dont see the problem, if you dont have the time, of watching ten minutes of a vid then ten minutes more later. I think… Read more »
And so it beings. As it did for gamesworkshop so to will it happen to BoW. The community will love BoW while loathing it at the same time.
I really like BoW and GW and can’t see myself ever getting to the point of leaving either of them. Even if I have to pay premium for the site, even if it all goes mail order, even if it all goes resin. I will stand along side the companies that make my hobby.
I really enjoyed GKs week, I was really excited for the army as they were one of my 2 first armies but after I received the codex and 1 of each new box I decided to skip it. The codex has so many flaws and problems it’s not even funny. GW obviously have NO quality assurance at all. If I were to give one suggestion for you guys it would be to check up on the rules so you dont state things that are very wrong, like psilencers wounding everything on 4+ when it only wounds daemons on 4+ This… Read more »
its too bad nid week has come and gone, but id like to see a few apinting and modeling tutorials again. Mainly basic and general stuff as a new player its quite difficult to spend loads of money on these models and then have the courage to do extra things youve never heard of or even know how to do thanks guys loving the shows
I’ve really enjoyed your coverage of the new codex this week. While I don’t agree with all of your opinions I do appreciate your ability to make me think about the new army. Please keep up the the great coverage!
I liked the videos, but its quite hard to match the Infinity week before it. I never liked GK, but the three colours up tutorial grabbed my attention to show that GK can’t just be painted silver and be done with it.
Awsome series I would
Love it if you guys could do like a speed paint comp eg paint a figure in 10 mins and do it on camera and then post it on you tube and they then could be judged Awsome work on the color up and look forward to what comes next
