Keep Tabs On Your Heroes With New Middle-earth Card Packs

Another new set of releases are dropping for folks playing the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game. Three new packs of cards are on the way from Games Workshop which will help you with all the bookkeeping during games.

The three new card packs cover most of the Free Peoples from the game as well as a focus on some of the Elves & Dwarves from Middle-earth too. This means we'll see a lot of the quirkier characters and elements being added into the mix. Also, if you're an Evil player then you can get the Isengard & Moria pack too this weekend which is good for those serving Saruman and delving deep to scamper with the Goblins!
Also, as shown off here, Games Workshop is also going to release a set of card sleeves which have been sized to fit the packs mentioned above.
This means you can use dry-erase markers over the top of them and mark off Might, Will, Fate and Wounds during gameplay so that you don't get accused of accidentally picking up that d6 which was next to Aragorn!
I think these are all good things for Middle-earth wargamers and anything which speeds up gameplay and keeps things focused on the action is good in my book.
Will you be picking some of these up?

Didn’t they literally just release a set of cards for this game that sold out at the preorder stage? How are these different?
This is a set of cards for different factions/characters compared to the last set of three.
Mordor, the Fallen Realms, the Defenders of Pelennor in the last set, and three more here.
Thanks – I was sure that some of the factions were repeated but can now see I was confusing “Moria” and “Mordor” – I am much ashamed.
It’s a shame they are struggling so much to keep cards for their games in print, some sort of POD service for cards like this and the long-gone Necromunda and Blood Bowl cards would be an easy win for all concerned.
You would think that would be a good idea haha
its always good to have stat cards for the hero’s of your games.
