Question : can characters use the vehicles ? Or are they always stand-alone figures ?

All units, including characters, are as their stat card says they are…

So to get a Rex on a Barc speeder, FFG would have to release a card for that and maybe a model…. But of course as always if your opponent are okay with it…

I don’t think we have seen a mounted commander yet. Would be a problem for commanders that buff units in a bubble.

I know that there is a command distance that a leader has to be in to be able to place an order on a unit. Comms equipment can over come that, but having a too mobile commander could prove problematic…. Unless one runs multiple commanders, which I believe is an option.

Thou an Obi-wan on the giant lizard from “Revenge of the Sith” would be rather cool.

I’d suggest watching a Let’s Pay, either OTT or Crabbok, if you haven’t already, or re-watching if it has been a while. Another suggestion for those important purchase decisions.
