4Ground Show Off Some New Roughed Up Fort Ruins
October 20, 2019 by brennon
4Ground has been showing off some of the work done on their Indie range. Here we have some of the Fort Ruins from Supreme Littleness which have also been hit with the 4Ground Render Powders.
Here is what 4Ground had to say about these new materials they've been using on this terrain which beforehand was simply plain wood...
"We have had our chemist friends develop a high colour pigment powder, with resin polymers included and other tricky stuff we don’t quite understand! 4GRP comes already pre-coloured to match our own paint palette range. From little tasks like thin render to cover burn edges on assembled kits to beeper renders and even stucco worked exteriors.
In these photos you see the powder applied and then once matte-spray varnished, the final colour is revealed. We think you guys will find lots of uses for 4GRP and so we hope to have all colours available as a product in larger big value volumes, before the end of 2019. Which colours are you looking forwards to having available and for which project?"
This all looks very nice indeed and you can see more on the buildings and the process of getting them to this stage here.
I think this has come across very nicely indeed and this will be a good option for those who are delving into some wargaming in North Africa or perhaps around the Middle-East.
What do you think of the options that 4Ground haven been showing off and the powders they are using?

I like the look of the render, very nice. When are they releasing the giant bunny in the background?
at Easter.
I thought just the same… we need a 4Ground Easter bunny!
The ruins looks great and the paints sounds a fad edition to the range.
I’m really looking forward to these render powders. I’ve got Rorke’s Drift arriving for Christmas this year and perhaps some of this stuff would make a great stocking filler.
Been picking up a few of the Supreme Littleness Design Islamic and western desert kits at shows in Scotland. They’ve went together really well. Still have to render them. Going to use them in Bolt Action and Mantic’s fantasy games.
Wall filler will give you the same texture.
I thought I recognised that ruin. I saw Supreme Littleness Designs at a con a couple of years back and they have this really cool construction site kit I wanna grab for modern/MENA games but never had the money. Following the link it looks like 4grounds helped flesh out that range. Nice one!
