Battle Through The Streets With PWork’s Roads Of War Mat

If you want to take the fighting into an urban environment, either as part of a Sci-Fi adventure or a Pulpy zombie-filled scavenger hunt, then the new Roads Of War Mat might be a good addition to the collection from PWork Wargames.
As you can see the mat comes in small 3x3 for those close-fought skirmishes and also 6x4 if you want to start taking things to the next level and make this a conflict which spreads across a wider section of the city.
I mentioned above how this would work well for a Sci-Fi clash but it also seems like a good fit for Historical and Horror-styled adventures too. You could see this being the streets of a modern city for your soldiers to clash with enemy forces or the post-apocalyptic wasteland of The Walking Dead where you're looking to escape hordes of zombies.
The footprints for the buildings are obviously a good guide for you to use when looking at making terrain but you could also use it as an open space where a camp could have been set up or maybe as a town square with remnants of the society that was strewn around.
I've been playing The Last Of Us recently and a mat like this would be great for running away from those terrifying clickers.
What do you think of the design?

Really like the road surface texture, however WAY too many pedestrian crossings. But PWork have been producing probably some of the best mats of late (others are making the mats too “fussy” and adding features and scatter that rightly belongs as 3D terrain rather than printed on the mat itself).
I really like this map. Throw some buildings down on it and crack on with a game of Spectre.
Fabulous looking mats for city games.
Really cool mat. I like it. PWork make some awesome mats. Perfect for TWD
