It's time for us to check out some Infinity! Justin has got his hands on one of the Dire Foes sets and we're ready for a grudge match. In the red corner is the beast of the Combined Army, from places unknown, Treitak Anyat. In the blue corner it's the Doc who rocks! Fusilier Indigo Bipandra!
Flatterer…
every word a true one 🙂
I hope you downloaded the mission pack before flashing the code to the entire internet.
When I first saw the concept art for this box I was pretty pumped but the poses just make the whole thing fall flat, out of all of the really cool looking dire foes boxes this is the one I definitiley won’t be picking up.
So are these scenarios meant to be played with just the three miniatures?
I should mention I have no idea on how Infinity plays, so I am unaware as to how many minis it takes to play. Looks like a neat game though, the minis are awesome!
I’ve played some test games on my own (nobody round here to play with) and even I didn’t know how these boxes were meant to work. The way I read it was that it was a mini 2 figure mission, like a sneaky stealth and counter-stealth scenario, one on one. But I also knew that in Infinity you die QUICK if you take a few shots and have no armour. I did however watch a video where they played through this mission on Youtube and it’s all clearer now. I’m in your boat being in an area with no real tabletop gamers around.
Around 8-10 miniatures per side on most occasions.
Cool. I like this idea of these mission packs, first I heard of them. Thx for the vid.
I would like to see a build video on one of the Infinity multipart mini’s. I am a bit intimidated by the fiddly bits. Can you just use super glue?
Also, does it make sense to use very fine steel wool to “polish” these mini’s before priming them?
Super glue works just fine. You don’t need to polish the minis first. Washing them beforehand won’t hurt anything though.
Do these characters come with rules for using them in regular games too?
How much is a scenario of? Do one mix in any other units one just happen to have?
