Otherworld Minis Make a Clean Sweep of their Latest WIP
May 14, 2014 by dracs
Otherworld Miniatures have put out another WIP for their upcoming Tavern set of non-player characters, ready to sweep up the drunken remains of your adventuring party after a night on the booze.
The inclusion of NPCs like this will help add a level of character to a situation and will instill a tabletop setting with a sense of life. This model is a pretty simple one, but it works well in portraying a tavern worker who might find themselves stuck in the middle of a bar room brawl.
Is it worth including NPCs in your role playing games?
I’m a fan of NPC civilian types. Not only do they add character to a village, but they can also inadvertently block line of sight, or can even be used as hostages. Wish there were was more choice out there for non-combatants.
