i have to agree with darrel the inquisition are the best part of the book i hope they do that inquisitor that lets u blast ur own guys i think the rules called any means nececary i mite be wrong (sorry for spelling again)
I think inquisitors not only could be the most effective part of the book but also make it a lot more interesting, since there are bound to be a load of cool combinations you can make. Also for fluff it makes it a bit more themed, though why the book isn’t called the inquisition is beyond me.
hey guys sitting watching your videos with my shinny grey knight codex in front of me and just want to correct Darrell about 1 thing as he keeps giving us wrong rules dam you Darrell!!!!
Empyrean Brain Mines are done on an initiative test not leadership Darrell!!!!!!
p.s. really enjoying grey knights week hope there’s alot more to come.
hey correcting Darrell again lol,
null rod is a power weapon which instant deaths psykers, and make the bearer immune to psychic powers friend or foe.
although congrats Darrell you got conversion Beamer correct. basically template that is strength 6 at up to18inch, 18-42 strength 8 and ap4, 42-72 strength 10 and ap1, over 72 miss. i rather like that rule shall be getting 1 of those to kill some tanks in my first turn, especially if i have the model in a tall building.
There’s a little synergy with inquisitors you’ve missed guys, the servo skulls let you roll one d6 less for blast weapons within 12″ as well as deep strike, Conversion beamer inquisitor, 3 servo skulls and 3 plasma cannon servitors comes in at 139 points and you get 4 blast templates that only scatter 3″ at most.
I agree Inquisitors are awesome for flavour – even if that’s a cheesy one (love the Daemon Sword/weapon) although I can see Henchman units soley consisting of monkeys and gun servitors or else death cult assassins with a few crusaders in them. It’s just as well they don’t have the Chiurgeon anymore – Feel No Pain henchman bands would be lethal. I feel all the Inquisitor Characters will get a run out, Valeria is my dark horse as she’s potentially a vehicle/character/monstrous creature killer rolled into one.
Close assualt Inquister squad, Use a Xenos Inquisitor (4 FW attacks on the charge), Lv 1 psyker with Hammerhand and Psychotroke grens, load him up with 4 DC ass (12 PW attacks on the charge), 3 Crusaders 6 PW on the charge), a jokaro (for the buff), 2 x Warrior accs (power armour + flamers) stick them in a stormraven with a friendly Dread and fling them across the table flat out, 2nd turn assualt. (either against 1 or 2 squads depends where u throw the Dread). with the random psycho effects, the +1 str from hammerhand, you should be… Read more »
Another correction RE: Servo-skulls “should an enemy unit move to within 6″ then the Servo-skull will self-destruct or flee the battlefield” pg62 Grey Knights codex. Base contact is not required.
I realize this is well after the fact, but was there ever a vid made for the named Inq HQs?
