Delve Into Midblight With Their First Expedition On Kickstarter
September 28, 2019 by brennon
Midblight Miniatures are on Kickstarter with their first venture into the world of fundraising. Their 'First Expedition' looks to bring you two very weird and different looking factions which come from the Isle Of Midblight.
The focus is on two factions which are very different. The first of these is Dolph's Dworvolk Poaching Party which is heading out into the wild in order to hunt down some creatures.
They look rather cool and whilst they're not quite Dwarves and not quite Humans I think they look like a fun set to use as your skirmishing warband on the tabletop. You could come up with all sorts of reasons why these folks are abroad looking for a particular quarry and whilst you're dreaming up gameplay options you can enjoy painting them too.
As well as Dolph, the Kickstarter is also looking to explore some strange creatures led by the mysterious Ma Grita and her kinfolk.
Once again, the sculpting here is top-notch and I love all the macabre detail worked into the model as a whole. I really like the overall look of all of these models in the Kickstarter and they would be wonderful for all of the various range-agnostic skirmish games out there. You could have some fun twisting the rules of Frostgrave, Thud & Blunder and more to work with this range.
Make sure that you check out the Kickstarter in more detail to see more of the models they have in the collection.
Are you tempted by these models?

Wow a great figure an very jim Henson dark crystal, labyrinth,?
I’ve backed this one for the Dworves. It was Connor MacLewd that drew me in. Not sure what that says about me?
Thanks so much for featuring my putty-doodles OnTableTop (it’s a lovely place you’ve got here.. I owe you a nice cup of Hemlock tea… perhaps something stronger?)!
– Was actually interesting reading what you’d made of my modest little imaginary kingdom (as I’ve been tinkering around ‘in it’ for so long)?
-Thanks Sundancer :}
-Ta Zorg (I’ve seen Labyrinth many times, probs American Werewolf the film I’ve re-watched the most.. it’s got everything.. love Frouds illustrations).
-&Thanks TheamazingMrG .. probs means you love Highlander (and odd miniatures..a totally rational position)?
