So pleased when the terrain set for Nightvault was released – these would go great to expand the work I’d already been doing. I was also pleased that I made and sold the 30-odd sets before these got released and cut into my market share!

As kits form GW go, they’re simple but not the cleanest to assemble – chunky plastic and take some fiddling to fit together.

I felt thoroughly uninspired when painting them, so just went very simple – drybrushed stone, and GW Waystone Green technical paint for the pyramids/throne etc.

I still maintain that you shouldn’t have plastic terrain on lethal hexes as models actually need to be in and moved through them. The Throne is particularly goofy looking in my view – and far too ‘straight edged’.
