V&V Protect Their Homeland With 40mm Aztec Warriors
September 12, 2019 by brennon
V&V Miniatures work on some larger scale miniatures as well as their 28mm ones. The newest additions to their webstore were the new Aztec Warriors in 40mm.
Crafted from the same resin that they use for all of their models these look like they'd be fun to paint up if you have an interest in this period of history. The Conquistadors, their invasion of South America/Mexico and the ensuing conflicts and such were something I learned a lot about back when I was young thanks to a CD-ROM which was all about explorers and their adventures.
It featured FMV segments with the likes of Magellan and of course Cortés. It was very cool and even led to me doing a project on the Aztecs for school! I really enjoyed their culture and learning all about it plus working with bright colours when drawing them! With that in mind, the colour and vibrancy of these miniatures will be something cool to draw out.
They aren't going to be overly useful for wargaming thanks to their scale but they would make a fun project for someone who wants to stretch their painting wings.
What do you think of the models?

great looking figures is one of them a jaguar? scout.
Wow. Even for this hobby that’s niche. Lovely minis though ??
You could use them as giant-size elites in Warlords of Erehwon or Saga.
