I love getting newsletters in my inbox. Maybe I’m a bit weird. Maybe I don’t get enough non-work-related emails. But the new OTT newsletter looked great. Well, it would have done. Except my web mail client stripped out all the images. So I clicked the “show remote content” option and…. still nothing.

The photos are there: I can view source and follow the link back to the image, it just doesn’t show up in my mail client – are you using some kind of load balancing or something, where images come from a different server/domain/ip?

Anyway, it’s probably a security thing with my email provider, since yours is the second newsletter I received this week where images were broken (even after requesting “show remote content”). On the other, there was a link at the bottom to view the newsletter as a web page.

Is this something you could incorporate with your newsletters? Just a simple link to view the same content, but in a web browser. Other than that, it looks great. More newsletters please!

If anyone has anything they would like to see in the newsletters feel free to post and let me know – as I do enjoy putting them together 🙂

Project of the week/month!  I know you do the golden buttons, but it might be nice for someone to have their project highlighted as there is some amazing content in them.

    Also

A Throwback Thursday link to say some content from a few years ago – Like John’s Prussian Guard or Lloyd’s Palm trees… so much good content I have forgotten about but still available, and anyone new wouldn’t have seen it before.
