Artel W Miniatures has been previewing a few more models coming for their expanding Sci-Fi range. The first of these is a Chaos Sorcereress infused with all sorts of crackling energy and seemingly bound to do the bidding of their master.

Known over on their Facebook Page as the Captivess she seems like one of those Daemon Hosts that you used to get when you were building Inquisitorial warbands. The model does look pretty awesome, rising up from the ground, power crackling in her hands as she gets ready to release it on some unfortunate soul.

I could see her being a good addition to a somewhat renegade Inquisitorial warband or maybe in the service of a Chaos Lord, using her power for his own means. If you're going to be diving into Wrath & Glory, the roleplaying game for Warhammer 40,000 soon, then this idea might make for a good storyline too.

As well as that demonic addition to the range we also have the Tekk-Szhaman here who is ready to power up his Boyz and throw them into the action.

I absolutely love this crazy pose, leaping around and getting excited about casting some new spell he has dreamt up in his noggin. The animated nature of the miniature really helps build on that quirky and dangerous streak that the Orks have whilst also harnessing that comic element too.

As we've stated on other occasions, it seems like this would be a nice route for Games Workshop to go down when it comes to revamping the Orks. They need to make them bigger and more animated!

Lastly, we have this new addition to your Inquisitorial retinue, the dashing looking Interrogator Karl.

I could imagine him looking all calm and friendly when you first meet him but underneath he's a cold-blooded killer. That sabre of his has no doubt found the throats of many a Cultist and I bet he is very adept at getting what he wants from both his allies and enemies.

I like seeing more 'Imperial' citizens from the folks at Artel W Miniatures. They help to build up the background of the well-loved grimdark world which inspired them and give you a taste of things beyond the battlefield. It's similar to what Games Workshop has been doing when it comes to Blackstone Fortress.
