Start In Age Of Sigmar With Mortal Realms Magazine

Hachette Partworks are putting together a magazine to get you stuck into the world of Age Of Sigmar by Games Workshop. Mortal Realms is going to be a series of magazines, much like we had with Conquest, which helps you build-up armies of Stormcast Eternals and Nighthaunts across its different issues.
The first issue is only £2.99 which is pretty good and gives you a set of easy-to-build Sequitors alongside some Chainrasps plus an arena for you to battle in. This gives you a fairly simply entry point into the game and could be a good way to encourage someone to give wargaming a go.
Future issues are going to expand things with new units, paints and more, helping you create small warbands that can clash with each other on the tabletop.
I can see a lot of people at least picking up the first issue just to get their hands on those miniatures for smaller projects. Beyond that this could be a fairly inexpensive way for you to slowly but surely work up a force or two for Age Of Sigmar with a friend.
Are you tempted by this?

I did buy a few of the 40k issues for the cheap paint, so if there’s paint again I may go or it.
Awesome, I’ll pick some of these up along the way to fill out the ranks in my Stormcast and Nighthaunt forces. Some minis and paints are hard to pass up in those first few issues.
I picked up the odd issue of conquest but didn’t subscribe. Might take the plunge this time, have they released a pic of everything you get though? Conquest had a pic of everything you’d end up with and it was quite a haul actually.
No pic yet. I reckon this is just a trial run to gauge demand as it seems to only be available in the North of England at the moment. The same thing happened with Conquest, went on trial for 4 weeks, stopped, then launched across the UK about 6 months later. I don’t think the full picture was made available until it was launched fully.
A great way to get more interest on the game for player’s.
I wish they would do this in North America. I would subscribe.
When and where is this going to be released?
I’d go for the 1st issue if nothing else, but it’s hard as hell to subscribe to it from Portugal
