Hardcore Miniatures Reveal Two New Marvel-lous Orks
August 26, 2019 by brennon
Hardcore Miniatures has added two new Orks into the mix for those looking to bring additional character to their grimdark forces on the tabletop. Sticking with a somewhat familiar theme we have Cabork leading the way.
This fellow looks like he might enjoy travelling through time and battling unkillable mercenaries. The design is awesome, larger than life, and perfect for the leader of a Kommando unit perhaps in your games of Warhammer 40,000 or Kill Team.
The same could be said about the other new release, Crank Orcisher. Armed with a plethora of different weapons and a chin that you could knock someone out with, this fellow looks like he would also be a good fit for a similar role.
I'm enjoying seeing the work and effort put into these sculpts from Hardcore Miniatures which takes a fun idea and makes it fit into the grimdark tabletop world. I think that the hints towards these character's origins are also subtle enough that only someone who knew the nod would get it. Perfect for slipping into your force and mingling!
Which of the two Orks would you pick up?

Those two look really nice.
An Ork version of Cable from the X-men. He also has an x on his belt as well.
I like!
The other is the Punisher! Just realized!
the new Ork smith an jones.
After his favourite Grot was killed by Deathskulls who were in the process of trying to loot his stuff, former Bloodaxe Commando Boss Crank swore vengeance against all theivin’ gits, and so the Orkisher was born…
I hadnt thought about Cable for the top one, I thought he reminded me of the soldier elite leader in small soldiers voiced by Tommy Lee Jones
Top one definitely reminds me of a former Mr Olympia turned actor. The bottom one is familiar, especially with the shotgun on the back, but it is escaping my mind at the moment.
Love it. The Cabork guy makes me think of the Commando Elite leader in Small Soldiers, Chip Hazard. Loving Hardcore Miniatures hero range too.
