The Molelocks Begin Undermining the Martian Front
May 1, 2014 by dracs
All Quiet on the Martian Front is currently up for pre-order, but that doesn't mean Alien Dungeon are relaxing their work as they show off the concept for the subterranean Molelocks.
Behold the hideous Molelocks, a subterranean troglodyte race of hideous mole people. Looks like another of H. G. Wells' science fiction stories is being drawn upon for this one.
So far I think that the concept looks really interesting, although the model itself could use a little work. The inclusion of the Molelocks into this highly mechanised field of combat is an intriguing one, and I look forward to seeing what sort of effect they will have on the game.
Have you joined the Martian Front?

Very nice looking model. 🙂 I remember seeing these creatures in both movie versions of The Time Machine. So delightfully scary. xD
Do you know if they’ll be lead by Jeremy Irons? haha
All Quiet on the Martian Front is apparently just the core game and the first part of a series of titles that will cover what will be termed the Great Interplanetary War. The Morlocks are next in line, with Venusians and other factions mentioned in the Kickstarter and on the forums. It is really exiciting stuff.
it would be very intersting to see what ther Morlocks bring to thge table to counter the larger units of their adversaries. Huge, blind subterranean monsters of some kind perhaps?
Darn – I keep writing Morlocks rather than the marginally different Molelocks, used I assume to avoid issues with intellectual property rights
From the All Quiet forums it seems that the Molelocks are actually just one race that forms part of a larger faction known as the Underdwellers. It has already been mentioned that there are plans to release Magmamen In addition to the Molelocks, and I assume that further units and possibly further races will also form part of the faction.
HG Wells called them morlocks.
