Happy Weekend!!
Boy, Do you have some Gaul with a thumbnail like that!! 😛 😉 😛
yeah … scaring Justin with big vegetables is not funny … 😉
Eggplant en Flagrante!
Happy Weekend everybody.
It was a long week for me but now I can sit back and enjoy some gaming goodness.
It’s the Weekender!
The Tithe II: Judgement looks very interesting. AoS has caught me from behind. Warcry got my attention and now AoS is reeling me in.
So … apparently I cannot post to the forums? And I can post here?
I guess this has something to do with the spammer nonsense earlier in the week?
You too ?
I guess the system is not set up to deal with our posting speed 😉
We’re too fast for humans, so we may be bots.
Happened to me last night, but left it 30 minutes, logged in, logged out and it worked again.
I think it is related to posting/editing speed …
At least that sort of made sense the first time.
Not too sure about the last time, but hey … maybe I need to rename myself as ‘da human spambot’ ? 😉
Exactly how big is a Chaos Terminator Lord?
I’ve built a couple of them and still couldn’t tell you how big they are…
Slightly shorter than the width of three primarse shoulder to shoulder, or half the height of an ambot.
Why couldn’t Justin just say that in the first place? Would have saved a lot of time and effort
It’s the Weekend!!
And a long one too for some of us!
Unless I missed it I was disappointed there was no Count Duckula and Nanny in that kickstarter
Victrix do hard plastic naked fanatics, so while Warlord’s resin is a solid material (it does have a bit of give especially on the appendages), you might want to go down on a firmer and harder material. Also Victrix tend to be that slightly bit bigger than Warlord minis if size is a factor!
maybe it gets harder if you rub it the right way ?
😉
While my club won’t be making use of your offer due to lack of interest in Flames of War I would like to thank you for remembering not everyone has a shop near them. It seems most gaming manufacturers (well the big guys anyway) forget this and make you have to go through a shop to get hold of community support type things when this isn’t always possible. I was hoping the GCN would get more involved with game makers etc and help with distributing to clubs not attached to shops.
Thanks, guys! Happy bank holiday weekend!
I do like this format more than the dodgy round table next door. I think it gives us much better sound and I imagine is better for the podcasts too. At least you guys now have a meet the team section now to see whos who. Looking forward to the D-Day Germans and seeing what will be available in the formations. Also really looking forward to KoW 3rd, have to say this game has the most inspirational armies I have seen due to their basing rules and their tournaments allowing models from various ranges. Some awesome looking armies out there.… Read more »
Let the Dongol horde loose. Led by Sir Cumcise.
Just jumped in on the ducks.
Dirtiest reply so far!!! 🙂 😉 🙂 😉 😛
FOWFTWDDAYAWESOME…?
I thought that was a town in Wales.
Well, perhaps except the awesome part. ?
@avernos Pantathian serpent priest, there’s a blast from the past. Still one of my favourite fantasy stories.
someone call the Lord of the West, or we’re all bolloxed!
One word: Penis.
And how is it pronounced in German?
Blutwurst
Almost the same way.
Haha, great show guys and the innuendo meter has broken.
Where to begin….
1) for the gauls you can all insert your own jokes about the size of their shafts and/or lengths of their weapons.
2) this ties in nicely with Justin’s comment about conquest, where he says “if they get you from the side or behind you’re going to feel it hurt”….
(I particularly enjoyed the look in @avernos eyes at the moment he realises what @dignity has just said.
3) As for the big guy with the coffin on his back ‘raising’ his men mid action, I nominate the name Mr Fluffer.
Come on Justin, don’t Duck the question
Conquest is looking better and better every time I see the game. The minis are looking awesome especially the Dweghom. I always had a soft spot for the vertically challenged folk 🙂
You’re trying to sell the Gaul army to Justin the wrong way. Notice how excited he was about alpha-striking to the rear in Conquest? For flavour to his force, add a special rule for bonus attack or strength for rear striking. Also, Warren mentioned the Dragon Hunters Dragon being in an epic “attack pose” — should blend in perfectly to Justin’s army for that big monster punch.
Happy Weekend 🙂
We love you Gerry @avernos!!!!
a nice bit of dolly dealering @lloyd
Those knights look amazing.
the conquest models do look really good.
the dragon game looks great.
