I guess I’m a bit late to this party (I’m somewhat busy these days), but actually it is in line with what I was wondering lately.
You guys put a gigantic effort in building the tables for your events, and publish some clips/vlogs about the process (all in all it produces ca. 2-3 hours of content in a span of 4-5 weeks), but as soon as an event starts, all the work gets lost from our screens. For me it is a shame as I’d really like to see those in use. Even if I don’t play the game you’re you’re having a weekender for I’d happily watch a battle report filmed on those gorgeous tables even to only look at them from closer distance (this is more a device of inspiration for me). Ideally it would be to see different games played on the same table to see how it works in different systems (with this I understand it may be much more work involved).
I know you like to produce high quality batreps involving 3 cameras and several people, but I’d be happy to see lower quality there just showing your work in close. Would it be possible to apply the same technology as for hobby streaming @warzan was talking about? Maybe just film members of local community playing games on those tables in a week coming after the event? That way you’d also be able to asses who of your young bloods have any screen charisma. All in all I’d be happy to see your super detailed tables in use to draw inspiration from them.
