Para Bellum Preview Dweghom Hold Warriors Dual Kit
August 16, 2019 by brennon
The team at Para Bellum Wargames has been showing off a new kit which is going to be launching alongside the rest of the Dweghom in September. Check out this dual kit which works for both Hold Warriors and Hold Ballistae.
This set of releases are going to form the core of your Dweghom force when you look to start building up this Dwarven army. I hadn't really taken a look at the basic Dweghom troops before until today and now, seeing them up close, I am very taken with them. I like the way they've crafted their armour and weapons and the beard work is looking swish too. I love that their banner also has weapons on top of it...very Dwarven.
As mentioned above, the kit allows you to build both troop types. You can either make the melee-based Warriors or the ranged Ballistae who will be defending the walls of your mountain hold.
There are lots of bits and bobs in the kit which allow you to do plenty of customisation too. With lots of shields, heads and command options you can get stuck into a bit of tinkering with this Conquest release coming your way.
I think that the Dweghom have a nice look to them which takes elements of Dwarven design from other worlds but introduces a unique edge too. It is going to be fun seeing more of the Dweghom elements that will be coming our way in the near future, especially when it comes to their characters.
What do you think of the new kit?

Those look really good.
Great looking figures for dwarfs or dark gnome’s? forces.
Considering the scale, very small giants.
Holy sh!t those are some seriously good looking dwarf mini’s. I absolutely love these and will 100% be getting them. Probably one of my favorite bits are the spikes on the bottom of the shields to drive into the ground, they just look completely immovable. Hats off to the team, these are next level.
Now I’ve got the Captain Pugwash theme in my head…

Para Bellum hits it out of the park again! I love how these guys have the traditional dwarf look to them, but they have a little bit of sci-fi with the really heavy riveted armor. Can’t wait to have a closer look at the other stuff they have coming down the pipeline!
