Oathsworn’s New Sculpts & Supplement For Burrows & Badgers
August 7, 2019 by brennon
Oathsworn Miniatures are looking towards their next Kickstarter for Burrows & Badgers and this week shared some more images of what they're working on right now. Two new miniatures popped up starting with the Border Collie Border Reiver!
Armed with a very dangerous looking blade here and showing off all the slashed fabric she looks like a fancy warrior woman who takes as much pride in her appearance as she does thwarting her foes. Border Collies are some of my favourite dogs (wish I could have one!) so it's awesome to see one in the mix here for Burrows & Badgers.
I'm looking to do a Scottish Clan warband next up for Burrows & Badgers so this would be a perfect addition to the mix.
This is another one of the really big miniatures in the collection and so it will most likely be coming to the Kickstarter in resin.
Deep In The Marshes
Beyond the borders, you'll find wild creatures who are a little more savage. The second miniature that was previewed is for this Toad Warrior.
Toads are very tough individuals in the game which usually makes them good mages but that means they can get stuck into the fighting too. I like that they've built on the wild nature of the Toads in Burrows & Badgers by making his weapons and armour out of bone, hide and wood rather than metal. It really helps to tell the story of this Toad as a noble wild warrior who probably knows the wilderness like the back of his hand.
This is going to be a really fun model to paint thanks to that contrast between the deep green for the skin and the dirty bone armour.
Narrative Campaign
In addition to the models, Michael from Oathsworn also showed off a new supplement that he is working on for the game. The Warren Percy Affair is going to be a two-player narrative campaign but there will be additional rules and scenarios included too.
Anything that helps to build up the background and narrative of Burrows & Badgers is great to see and I can't wait to give this a go with my friend. Thanks to Sarissa Precision working on the terrain for the game it shouldn't be hard to help build the tables for this either.
What do you think of the new offerings for Burrows & Badgers?

Very, very nice! Totally agree about the toad, I love the more ancient and exotic feel the sculpt has.
Great news. I am slowly building a Warband…I will have to increase the pace to finish it before the end of summer.
Those are looking really nice.
Finally, a border collie! I mean the toad is very cool but I need that pup in my collection especially if I am going to create an all canine gang at some point.
You can get toads in Burrows & Badgers?
I might have to look into this game a bit more.
