V&V Miniatures Ride Into Battle With Their Normans
August 3, 2019 by brennon
Building on their Dark Age range, V&V Miniatures has shown off their new resin Norman Riders who are going to be heading across The Channel to battle the Anglo-Saxons.
The set gives you a selection of fairly lightly armoured Norman riders who will be charging into battle with spears and shields at the ready. Each of the riders is mounted on a rather neat looking horse which looks in the midst of a charge. Each of the riders is also at the ready with a spear in hand, thrusting it towards the enemy.
These might be a nice addition to your Norman force as you're planning to take over England from the Anglo-Saxons. Lots of different options make for exciting and individual looking armies which should mean that no two forces actually look the same on the tabletop.
They might be a little more expensive compared to existing plastic and metal troops but sometimes it's worth a splurge.
What do you make of these Norman Riders?

Those are really good.
V&V do really nice sculpts. Picked up some of their Vikings recently. Really nice kits
Very nice. Wish I had a use for these!
I think you hit the nail on the head for me… “They might be a little more expensive compared to existing plastic and metal troops”. If they were significantly nicer than Footsore or Warlord’s range (formerly known as Saxon Miniatures), I’d go for them but while nice it is hard for me to justify the price.
Fabulous armed cavalry.
They look really cool, might pick some up
