Kromlech Get You Fighting Over Hive City Apartments

Kromlech's Hive City range expands with the addition of the Apartments kit which gives you another massive building to fight over on the tabletop.
Here you can see the Apartments in their raw MDF form. I really like the details across the piece with the inset windows and the scroll work around certain areas on the front to give it the facade of somewhere nice to live despite being in such a hellish place. The big thing, of course, is the large area on the top of the building which can be used to plonk down whole units or maybe even a flying vehicle.
Making terrain playable is key and this certainly does that. In addition, this would work as a good piece of blocking terrain for line of sight meaning that your troops won't just get blasted away on the first turn. I have seen far too many boards with just fractured ruins on them where enemies just start blasting each other to pieces from turn one because you can see everything!
With larger structures like this, you get to focus the action into fire lanes and ambushes as units battle through the streets and look to get up onto the high ground. You could simply just rule that it takes maybe a turn of running to get up the stairs from the front door here for example.
The Hive City range from Kromlech is pretty big now so there's no shortage of terrain for those looking to create a tabletop worthy of games like Warhammer 40,000.
What do you think of the Apartments?

Nice one.
They look fantastic
A lot of skirmish games with buildings don’t use the interiors which is a shame, so much potential for cover and cinematic scenes.
Nice building, but more expensive that I usually pay and I have a good selection of buildings from elsewhere.
A fabulous looking building a great police station for a 40K district 13 scenario?
@unclejimmy this looks like it would be a great addition to your Infinity table! Perfect vantage point!
I really like it. It will make a nice change from all the busted up buildings I have for my 40K/heresy games.
Nice I never knew Kromlech made terrain
