USAopoly Show Off Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition!
July 30, 2019 by brennon
You are soon going to be able to adventure alongside your favourite Kingdom Hearts characters with Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition coming in Autumn of 2019 from USAopoly.
The Talisman journey has been tweaked to fit the world and characters of Kingdom Hearts, allowing you to play as the likes of Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Donald, Mickey, Xion, Riku, Goofy, Aqua, Terra, and Mulan.
Much like with the traditional game of Talisman where you're looking to reach the centre and bring down the big bad in Kingdom Hearts, you will be looking to be the first to face down Ansem, Seeker Of Darkness and seal the Door To Darkness.
The game will come with a range of detailed plastic figures representing the different characters and a very colourful board inspired by the video game series which has one of the most convoluted stories I've ever seen.
Beyond that though, this will be another good entry point for those who haven't played tabletop games to dive into our hobby. Whilst Talisman might be an old dog now it still harbours plenty of fun moments and for a newcomer, it's very light on rules too.
Hopefully, this will get more people diving into the tabletop world!

That looks really good. I am tempted and I am not even huge Kingdom Hearts fan.
Fabulous figure’s I can see me taking on the enemies as Goofy.
Absolutely LOVE this!! The minis are amazing!! i have to say though, I’m royally bummed that there aren’t minis of the heartless/nobody enemies. perhaps an expansion will come down the line!
Seriously though, I love Kingdom Hearts, but I have to agree 20000% on the confusing story bit. When my wife and I played Kh2… we were utterly lost as to what was going on, not realizing that there werre several others games that took place bewteen the two Playstation games released on other game platforms that filled in the blanks.
We haven’t played kh3 yet, but before we do, we are definitely picking up that anthology set and getting tho picture this time!
Yeah I love the games and the whole aesthetic but a complicated, intricate plot isn’t necessarily a good one.
