We seem to have gotten off to a bad start this week. It seems to be sorted now…I hope. I might be able to show off what I have been doing. Tensions have been a little high, but I will just say it is because of the heat and we can leave it there. I changed the name for Warren as I don’t want anyone causing problems for BoW/OTT.

mecha82 – good one. 50pts. What do you fancy doing?

@robert – I went to take some pictures in the front garden, but it has been pissing down since stupid o’clock this morning. Still, good for the flowers and frogs.

You saw a ghost or two? If I were a harsh Freudian I would say you need the willies putting up you! 100pts. I like the green colour. I scrolled down a bit and noticed just how small they are! However, @torros would probably say, “they are massive!”. Some of him mini minis are outstanding. I wish I could paint bigger things as good.

A very nice touch with the ammo crates. 50pts.

@elessar2590 – better get another ‘avatar’ picture before they come for you! 1000pts. The Paras are getting there. They are very impressive already. I tried some 15mm Russians, just a machine-gun team, and it was dreadful. Must try harder.

Has the guy at the back of the AT-guns got a cricket bat in has hand? Awesome guns. 100pts. What is ‘Sharp Practice’?

So, a DONGA is like a prefab? Maybe you should have got Crazy Steve to explain it…

Ayn Rand is just another race baiting, leftie ponce with nothing better to do. Got it. Bet she is a hound too.

@oriskany – roger the time. I should be still up-and-about then. Will it hurt? Well, if my jokes and wonderful sense of humour don’t get your spirits up then those tanks will. Did you like my counter offer?

I have said it before, Heather has a theory about ‘wargamers’ and ‘modellers’ – they are all on the spectrum. Every time I tell her something from her, or show her someones work, she always add, “autistic!”. She would love to do a proper test if she could get enough subjects and had the time!

In you example of the game…let’s see that work on a battlefield! 100pts. If I was ever close enough to an enemy MBT I would be heading the other way really quick. The range of regular infantry weapons can be reasonably long, but that is not what they are designed for. Handguns are for shooting at someone you can smell! Even then, the user has to skilled in it’s use.

I do not have a clue about Poker. I do know it has five cards and a ‘river’ card! I saw a programme advertised once called the’Vegas Poker Open’, but it wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. A bit like ‘Fanny by Gaslight’…I thought it was Victorian porno.

Harpoon is used by your Navy guys to train new commanders, or it used to be. I love the level of detail, but it was almost unplayable as a ‘game’. We used to use a set of easy rules called ‘Sea Power’. I might have to get a copy of the PC version. I wonder if it is on Steam?

I know what you mean. A flight of F-14’s is going to stand out on radar in under 30 seconds, but a Seahawk with a StS missile is a nasty thing to have out looking for you. It will just stay in the radar clutter too. A game of Harpoon that size would have taken you five weeks! 100pts.

@cpauls1 – well said that man! 100pts. Put them through one of our old-style CQB courses. They wouldn’t have made it to the lunch break! However, they are a bit VD. Beforehand is please, but afterwards is a pain in the arse. Those ‘Ogre’ things have amazing looking bases. 100pts.

@warzan – I certainly am! 100pts. Hey, you are the boss. I love everyone, but I like to get people to join in. It is not anyone’s fault that some people take offence at everything and I did keep trying to explain what is going on here. I want everyone to join in here, but when people just start by going Happy Mondays it makes me wonder what their agenda is.

I will have to try and make it a bit clearer in future.

@woldenspoons – No! 50pts. I cannot abide air-headed ladies. She has really nice ears though. Next time you have to do it properly or there will be trouble. I have a few pot of DM too. Pity Wacoshop didn’t pay their paint bill…again.

@limburger – no Katy Perry! It is in the Geneva Convention. Even I would not be that cruel to someone.

@tuffyears – you can, but you have to take ‘the test’ first. Oh, and pass it. Do you think you are up to it? 100pts to give you courage. I love the missile launcher Harlequins. I cannot remember what they are called?

The GD is stunning! It really is. An overdone mini, but what a fantastic paint job. Impressed. 100pts.
