Supervising my hobby noob gf right now with her Age of Sigmar Undead army. It’s a change of pace from all the hobby I did today

I also got fed up of a box at the end of my bed I keep banging off of when walking past. I decided to fix the finished, old models in it, lay them out, dust them and put them into a cabinet. What results was me going back over an army I started years ago which I haven’t played with in some time.

I have some covertred plastic Obliterators that originate in a time before finecast or resin cast as it has now been Rebranded

My second Terminator Chaos Lord. I liked concerting this army. As for the army background they are an Enperors Children Warband who haven’t gone extremely down the rabbit hole with Slaanesh and still have a sense of honour from the days of the Legion as well as Starships and infrastructure. So they are still chaos just not off their heads 100% of the time and can still maintain a sense of structure despite mutating and seeking pleasures

Also, they have a particular distaste for tyranids, which to them are a disgusting affront to existence. Just too damn ugly. Also, they use them as trophies and experiment on their leftovers for combat drugs. They also recruit their marines from ‘Liberated’ survivors where a Genestealer cult has risen up to gain dominance. Chaos is a much better choice than being absorbed by a hive fleet after all.

The Possessed all have wings, predating Warp Talins by a few years. I also found some old metal thousand sons and gave them teapot private’s backpack from finecast hybrid death guard I cannibalised and dumped the rest of. I drybrushed them several times today after rebasing and priming then.

    Everything  was also dusted

    Also… Baneblade!!!!

I did some dry brushing on the nine or so cultists that we’re primed black. I decided to do a prototype with a  limited palette as that worked on my Night Lords and I am happy with the results.

More of the previously mentioned Possessed. I remember using these in a tournament but was in a rush so did the minimal three colours and based them (rule of the time). They made for a handy throw away unit that got mostly ignored. Used them as Raptors. I recall hem being a major inconvenience as they were underestimated and went for soft but semi important targets

The Dreadnought has been primed Dragon Red ages back (Army Painter) over an aborted and badly done Aloga Legion paint job. He got a new base which I primed seperately today with Halfords Grey Primer and then a heavy wash of Strong Tone. Beside him are two Slaanesh Chaos Lords with Lightning Claws.

They were already primed Alien Purple which is setting me back a tad. They were also dusted, had new bases attached which were primed and drybrushed

As you can see the Warp Talons are on top of some Thermic Plasma terrain which I also drybrushed today (from conquest magazine)

still a ways to go with these yet

    (1)  A hodgepodge mixed squad of Chaos Marines that will be repainted. Four meltaguns should do some damage.

    (2) Three converted Obliterators, Forge World Khorne Lord zhufor, converted. A rebased and primed Warsmith, and another Warmsoh (both are metal)

    (3) 6 Noise Marines with two squads of five Havocs, on borrowed and primed bases with previous ones removed and reattached to the new bases, today. One not pictured as had to cannibalise parts

    (4) unfinished Vindicator. Repainted  the siege shield as I painted a slaanesh themed obscenity on it when I was younger and dumber hat would get t pulled from a tournament. I have a conversion idea in mind. Unfinished Predator Hull (turret and sponson weapons are finished)

    (5) Converted tendril whipping Hellbrute of Slaanesh with Maulerfiend Parts.
