Tercio Creativo Re-Release Some Classic Sculpt

Tercio Creativo is re-releasing some classic sculpts from their 1650 collection. You might remember these fellows creating a rather neat skirmish game with some stunning miniature support. We start with the Musketeer.
As you can see, even though they are a few years old these sculpts are still fantastic. They are packed with detail, would work really nicely with a good wash and highlight job and the details are great, specifically when looking at the face.
The second of the miniatures is Bruxa Teuriga who takes things in a less martial direction.
She might look like an old lady who is just hobbling down the street but she has mystical powers hidden away. She has polymorphed one soldier into a frog as you can see here! I love that you get that little extra bit for this set, helping to tell a bit of a story.

This is interesting. I don’t remember seeing those before this so I must have missed those when those were originally released. Both are rather nice.
I have to say, I don’t remember seeing these either the first time through.
But do like them! Plenty of character in each of them.
Beautiful! Would work well with “Freebooter’s Fate” or any Pirate game. Not a Spanish reader/speaker they also do a range that looks like worms from that well known PC Game.
Great figure’s and the ones on their site are fabulous as well.
They look great, can’t say I recall them however
I think of them all the time and the chiaroscuro style of painting that their artists use to paint the studio miniatures. In fact I believe it was Warren, Lloyd and myself on one of my first weekender guest spots when we looked at them originally and I was blown away by the sculpts then.
They are lovely sculpts, and the box I’ve got damn near filled with the two core factions and assorted personalities is testament to how good the sculpts are.
Just wish I could come up with a use for them…..
I’d drop them into any dungeon crawler, or there are a few good generic fantasy games they could slot into like frostgrave, rangers of shadow deep among others
Hmmmm. I do have some Ancient Ruins styled resin bases that would fit to turn these plucky Spaniards into “liberators” of treasures…..
just remember to shout “this belongs in a museum” just before you loot and you win

I have been on the website but can not figure this out. Does Tercio Creativo design and sell sculpts? What would the Sculpts be used for? I get confused with all this Geekery.
Look for the British Flag to change the site to English. Click the online store link. Click the 1650 link and enjoy the miniatures. They are probably not well known outside of Spain. Should you download their rules and want to play, while many of the cards you need can be found in English, many of the miniatures which come with cards you need are often in Spanish only. Yeah I have to concur that these don’t look like minis from Tercios previous releases, but then they’ve not put anything out for a while.that I can remember seeing….
I remember some of the 1650 collection especially a masked executioner. I don’t recall these sculpts or the game
