Warploque Miniatures’ Explorer Returns To ArcWorlde
July 24, 2019 by dracs
Warploque Miniatures have revealed the WiP for The Explorer, the narrator responsible for telling the tale of ArcWorlde.
This is the second edition sculpt for The Explorer, and sees a departure from his previous calm and steady stance to one that feels much more believable, given some of the denizens of ArcWorlde he must face.
I love a lot of Warploque's stuff, but this new version of The Explorer may well be my favourite. There is so much brilliant character to it, right down to his frightened expression. I do have to wonder what is happening with his book. If it gets damaged, I riot.
Let us know your thoughts on The Explorer's new look in the comments below.

I have been following this as a WIP on facebook and it really come together.
Those are lovely sculpts
Warpy’s stuff is just getting better and more refined but still retaining quite a distinct and, dare I say, quaint style. It is a sexy book, so it would be a shame if it got damaged. Reminds me of the Librarian TV and movie for some reason.
a fun looking character
Those are really nice.
Both look awesome.
I can’t believe I’ve missed, some how, the first model of the Explorer!
This second sculpt is really good. Lots of action.
Now I’m off to the ‘E of Bay’ to find the first Explorer mini!
Its technically the fourth @templar007
The fourth is the new one with the book, the one below it is the first (KS exclusive). There was the general release Explorer model, and then there was the Winter-themed Explorer for the ‘Troubles in the North’ expansion.
